I’ve been turning my smart home upside down lately. The reason was a test, because I have access to an Aqara EU Hub for some time now (was alpha tester). And that’s just pretty great: The components of Aqara are quite cheap and via the hub they can partly be passed on to Apple HomeKit, if certified. I’ve got a hub, so to speak, and then I’ve connected dozens of sensors to it. They can now be controlled and managed in the Xiaomi Home app, but also in HomeKit. I had ordered a lot of sensors in the Sale. Everything installed, linked, equipped with rules.
In any case, the hub is now officially coming to Europe, and will be launched in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. The Schlaufuchs naturally searches out of Germany for a favorable import possibility and does not wait long. From me there’s a thumbs up for the Aqara EU Hub and all the sensors, worked fine with me so far and the module prices are great – moreover you can control from iOS and Android.
